Why not plan a weekend break or holiday in Torquay during February 2014. With the climate in the Torquay generally much milder than the rest of the UK you can find you’re the only people on our local Meadfoot beach overlooking the best coastal scenery on the English Riviera.
There are plenty of fantastic attractions to visit only a short drive away and the hotel is central to the very best of them. Attractions such as the Prehistoric Kent’s Cavern are just 15 minutes’ walk away, from spooky fright nights on in the evening to musical events and plays being held here in February such as Romeo and Juliet. Torquay’s premier coastal zoo and conservation charity “Living Coasts” is also open all year round and is only 15 minutes’ walk from us situated on the Torquay harbour side.
You can also visit the princess theatre in Torquay Harbour which is showing the Jackson tribute thriller during February 2014, It runs from Monday 17th February 2014 to Saturday 22rd February 2014.
Walking is the best way to explore Torquay’s vast coast line, we are right in the middle of some excellent coastal paths. The “Agatha Christie mile” can be joined from right behind the hotel grounds and takes you on a 30 minute journey overlooking the mead foot area and sea bringing you out at the top of the Torquay harbour. We can provide you with free printouts of all the local walks and paths in the area to get the most out of your stay in Torquay or you can visit the National Trusts website and view them all before you arrive.
