We are approximately 2 minutes drive away from the town centre – you can find us easily when you reach Torquay harbour by following signs to “Meadfoot Beach”. We have included a map below showing our location – To instantly find driving directions to us press the “directions” button just next to the white box which indicates our position. You can then input your postcode or home address and this will present you with comprehensive directions straight to our door. We have blue signage and are the last hotel on the right hand side before you reach Meadfoot beach.

Temporary Closure until 22nd May – COVID 19 

In line with government advice about avoiding non-essential travel, and the continued risk of spreading the COVID-19 virus we have extended our temporary closure until the 22nd May inclusive

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and take advice from the appropriate authorities, and we will only reopen when it is clear that it is safe to do so. If this means that we have to extend the closure beyond 22nd May, we will ensure we update this page.

What this means is that we will now have to defer all bookings for anyone who was planning to visit us during the temporary closure period.

Rebook for a future date: We very much look forward to the day when all of this is over and we can welcome you back to the Balmoral – With this in mind, we are looking upon this as a postponement, not a cancellation.

 We very much hope you will want to postpone your holiday and rearrange it for a later date. You can therefore move your booking to any available date this year, we will retain your deposit to be used against this amended booking.  Please check our website for various deals and offers we have running we may be able to move your booking to the same or similar offer.

If you elect to move your booking to a date with a different seasonal rate, we will need to charge you the new rate, which may be higher or lower, depending on which season you choose.

If you have booked with a voucher then we can move your booking to another off-peak period – which will now be the Autumn. (October onwards)
