The Palace, one of Torquay’s most majestic and historic hotel’s has been sold and has closed its doors to new bookings, anyone who has booked beyond the 31st of July will have their bookings cancelled. The Hotel is now due for a complete re-development.
We would like to introduce our hotel to The Palace Hotel’s past and present customers. We are now taking bookings from current guests who are looking for a great new hotel in Torquay.
The Hotel Balmoral is family run 25 bedroom hotel in one of Torquay’s most prestigious areas with private parking, large landscaped gardens, popular restaurant and some rooms overlook the sea. with the beach only a few minutes walk away, there is also a bus stop right outside. Trading as a hotel since the 1940’s, we are ranked amongst the top 10 hotels in Torquay, and have a three star classification.
Enjoy 5 course cuisine in our restaurant with our award winning chef from only £56 per person per night half board in July and August when booking 7 nights or more. We also offer a range of breaks throughout the year.

Facilities
We have an arrangement with the health club opposite us which means our guests can use their indoor swimming pool, sauna and gym for £10 per person per day. This means you have the same facilities of a large hotel but the warm personal service only a small family run establishment can offer.
