The Urban Slide is a new idea from artist Luke Jerram, which allows people to navigate the streets of their town in a new, dramatic way; on your bottoms or bellies! The slide is a simple architectural invention and a playful response to the modern, urban landscape.
The installation requires public participation to be activated; the ‘rider’ becomes the performer, whilst the spectators watch on from the sides.
This installation has been used in Bristol and has proved very, very popular with adults and children alike! For more information on this amazing event, visit their site here.
A rare event, not to be missed.
