From the Common Players, in association with Exeter Northcott Theatre,comes a new production of Jez Butterworth’s critically acclaimed play, Jerusalem. Which will be performed on the lawn in front of Torre Abbey Historic House on Saturday 7 June at 8pm.

Jerusalem premiered at the Royal Court Theatre in London in 2009 and became the Evening Standard’s ‘Play of the Year’. It is a heroic play about the Great British need for connection with the landscape and our roots. JERUSALEM charts the chaotic and hilarious events over the 24 hours of a local mid-summer festival.
