English Riviera Open Bowls Tournament 2017

The English Riviera welcomes all bowlers to participate in this friendly but competitive tournament. Over the years bowlers from all parts of the U.K. as well as from Holland, South Africa and Australia have participated. We endeavour to provide good facilities and bowling conditions at our three host clubs, Kings, Torquay and Victoria B.C.’s which are all located on the main Torquay sea front and within easy walking distance. We particularly thank those who have regularly supported us over the years, trust they will continue to do so and hopefully introduce new faces. The tournament runs over an eight day period from Sunday to Sunday and will always be in the week which includes the third Monday in June. Events programmed for 2017:-
Open Singles. (New competition with enhanced prize money, open to all) Men’s and Ladies Pairs – There will also be a limited entry “Consolation Men’s Pairs” for early round losers. Men’s Triples and Mixed Pairs. Each competition is played through to a conclusion so there is no “finals day”.
