The Bikers Make a Difference (BMAD) Festival was started in 2002 by a group of bikers who decided to arrange a social event on the beach and raise money for local charities. During the May Bank Holiday weekend each year, Paignton Green is transformed into a thrilling mix of spectacles that will appeal to all ages, whether they have an interest in motorbikes or not.
Since its creation, the festival has grown into a major event attracting locals, visitors and bikers from all across the country. All in the name of charity, the festival features live music, stunts, a beer tent, more stalls than you can shake a Harley Davison at and the stars of the show: the motorbikes.
BMAD is, probably, the biggest biker, music and beer festival in the South West of England. Now in its 12th year and better than ever before. With plenty of bikes, bands and beers to keep everyone happy; and with food, traders and the wonderful beach – it’s likely to be the perfect weekend.
We have put together an incredible line up of some of the top bands in the UK & Europe, including Never The Bride, Hells Bells, the Kris Barras Band, The Darkside of Pink Floyd, Stop Stop, Departed, and plenty more . . There are two stages this year as well.
We are extending our range of refreshments this year to include a choice of 50 different ales and 20 ciders. This should satisfy all our thirsty visitors. Soft drinks will be available for all those who have to ride or drive.
All the money raised at the Festival goes to our chosen charities.
