June 29th 2014 will see the 23rd running of this very popular seaside event;
The Torbay Half Marathon.
The route is a traffic-free two lap course which starts and finishes on Paignton seafront. It then takes in the stunning coastal views across Torbay. Starting with one lap of Paignton Green before heading towards Torquay, the course passes the historic Torre Abbey and Princess Gardens and then begins the return back to Paignton.
With first prize being £450 to first Male & Female finisher, there are loads more cash prizes, with the prizefund list worth over £3,000! There are prizes for all age categories from age 17 to 65+ years, and there is also an award for the best Fun Costume! All finishers on the day will receive a Goody bag, Souvenir T-shirt, and Commemorative medal.
