Make no mistake about it, Meadfoot beach is the top beach in Torquay, but most people are yet to discover its charm, which means it still remains relatively secluded. Perfect if you are looking for a relaxing and quiet holiday.

So how can we be sure that Meadfoot beach really does top all of the other beaches in Torquay? Well, for one thing, The Environment Agency has been taking water samples from the sea for many years now, and every single time it passes with flying colours.

This is no easy feat, as they have very strict water quality standards which means only the best beaches have the honour of carrying the prestigious Blue Flag.

Not only that, but Meadfoot beach in Torquay Devon was also tested on a number of other factors, such as safety, litter management, the facilities available, and access for people of all ages. Needless to say, Meadfoot beach passed on all of these factors, so you can have complete peace of mind when visiting the beach with the entire family.
